Our approach

A longerhorizon.

We invest with conviction, patience and a clear focus on real-world impact.

Our principles
  1. 01Disciplined
    investing
  2. 02Active
    partnership
  3. 03Sustainable
    impact

Principles

Independent thinking.Disciplined execution.

We bring an open mind to complex opportunities and a disciplined process to judging whether they are worth backing.

01

Vision

Looking beyond conventional boundaries to recognise technologies, ideas and situations others have missed.

02

Discipline

Testing the commercial fundamentals, the downside, liquidity and execution risk before anything else.

03

Flexibility

Considering different structures, horizons and sectors when the underlying case supports them.

04

Partnership

Building relationships where alignment and long-term thinking add to the value created.

From introduction to decision

Four stages.No shortcuts.

The framework is the same whether the opportunity is a patent, a growth round or an energy project. The questions inside it change.

01 / Identify

Introduction

We read your summary and decide whether there is a potential fit with our focus.

02 / Evaluate

Assessment

A call, then a focused information request on fundamentals, capital needs and material risks.

03 / Structure

Terms

We agree structure, terms and alignment before full due diligence begins.

04 / Execute

Completion

Diligence, legal completion, then active monitoring and support after investment.

Clear expectations

What wedecline.

Saying no early saves everyone time. These are the most common reasons we pass.

  • Opportunities outside our sectors where we cannot add judgement
  • Deals offered through intermediaries without a direct mandate
  • Any arrangement involving upfront fees to access capital or a deal
  • Regulated activities without the necessary permissions
  • Cases that depend on information we cannot verify

The name

Al Rezk.

Al Rezk takes its name from the Arabic rizq: provision, the means to sustain and grow. It reflects what we believe capital should do: give good ideas and good businesses the means to last.

Questions

Before youget in touch.

What happens after I send an introduction?

The investment team reads it. If there is a potential fit, we will ask for a call and a short list of follow-up information. If not, we will tell you.

Do you invest alone or alongside others?

Both. Some opportunities suit us as the sole investor; others are better with co-investors or strategic partners.

What do you need for due diligence?

It depends on the opportunity, but usually financials, legal and ownership documents, evidence of the product or asset, and references.

Is submitting an enquiry a commitment?

No. An introduction does not create any obligation on either side, and it is not a promise of funding.
